About Us
BEXARA (Bexley Active Retirement Association) is a friendly and welcoming social club for people aged 50 and over. We are part of the Kent Active Retirement Association (KentARA), linking us with similar associations across Kent.
Our aim is to promote active retirement by encouraging friendship, participation and lifelong learning. We provide a relaxed and sociable environment where members can meet new people, develop interests and enjoy shared experiences.
New members are always warmly welcomed.
Our Activities
We organise a varied programme of activities throughout the year. Members can take part in as many or as few activities as they wish.
Suggestions for new activities are always welcome.
Membership
Membership is open to anyone aged 50 and over. Our annual subscription is kept affordable and helps cover venue hire and speaker costs.
Visitors are welcome to attend a meeting before joining.
Meetings
We meet on the third Thursday of each month at 2:00pm.
